Sparking growth one story at a time.
All it takes is that one special book.
Did you know that over 60% of low-income families have no children’s books in the home?
Title I schools are considered high poverty, and most students’ families don’t have the means to pay for books for their kids.
But reading has the power to transform a child’s life, helping them develop thinking skills, build confidence, and come into their own personality.
Chase’s Chapters is on a mission to make sure every child, no matter their socioeconomic status, has access to a book of their own.
Here’s how it works:
Chapter 1: Donation from you.
(Thanks!)
Chapter 2: We buy books.
We use 100% of every donation to purchase books (carefully selected by former superstar-teacher, Ms. Butler) from Scholastic, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other vendors.
Chapter 3: A child gets a book.
We set up a day with a Title I school for students to receive the perfect book. (They can pick it out themselves, or the school can help find the right one for their grade and level.)
Chapter 4: A new reading star is born!
(They make the world a better place.)
